Are your products available in stores or a print catalog?

We offer extremely high quality covers that appeal to enthusiasts and have found that our customers are different and have higher expectations than someone buying a cover off of the shelf at your local Big-Mart or Amazon style store. Selling our products direct to you online also allows us to pass on any savings by cutting-out the middleman. So to answer your questions, no, our products are not found in stores.

We consider our website a really nice "virtual catalog" that lets us keep our offerings updated quickly so our customers always have access to the latest products and information.

Of Course! To do so, please follow these steps:

Will I be charged sales tax?

Sales tax is only charged if necessary for the state we are shipping the item to; if your state requires us to charge sales tax it will be automatically calculated in checkout.

Do you offer price matching?

Are your products in stock?

Yes! The vast majority of our products are in-stock and ready to ship immediately. These will be indicated by "Ready-To-Ship" on the product information page.

For products that need to be customized before shipping, look for the "Made-to-Order" text on the product page. Typically made-to-order items ship within one week of ordering.

Where are BestCovers® products made?

We proudly offer products made in the USA by partners such as Westland® and Covercraft®. Purchasing one of these quality covers supports American workers.

We also offer products and accessories manufactured globally in order to offer customers competitive pricing. All of our globally sourced products undergo rigorous quality testing to ensure you will receive a product you can count on for many years.

How do I measure for my cover?

That's a good question - but we've taken care of that for you! We've developed an extensive database of all the dimensions needed to provide the perfect fitting cover for your vehicle or boat. If a dimension needs to be provided we will typically offer you a chance to choose that as you select your product.

If you have an add-on accessory or any particular part of your vehicle that is not standard, contact us and our team can make sure our covers will accomodate your customization.

Do you make custom covers?

Yes! This is what sets us apart from most of our competitors! Many sites only offer generic or "universal" fit covers. We offer truly custom-fit covers designed to fit your vehicle like a glove and hug every contour of your boat or vehicle.

How do I clean my cover?

The best way to clean a cover is while it is installed on your vehicle. Use a mild cleaner such as Simple Green and a soft bristle brush to gently clean the surface of the cover. You can leave the cover installed and let the cover air dry on the vehicle.

DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR DRY YOUR COVER. This will void the warranty and could cause your cover to shrink.

After cleaning, we recommend using a water repellent spray to re-coat the material to ensure many more years of trouble free use.

How do I store my cover?

Most of our covers include a storage bag that is perfect for stuffing your cover into for storage between uses. We recommend only storing your cover in the storage bag if the cover is dry, in order to prevent mildew or mold.

If you're needing to store your cover for an extended period, you should clean any debris from the cover and ensure the cover is completely dry. Neatly fold the cover and place in the storage bag.

Will the cover I purchase fit my .... ?

Yes. This is what we do - the cover you purchase will fit your auto, boat, motorcycle, ATV or anything else you have chosen on our site.

We'd be lying to you if we told you we get it right 100% of the time, but we work hard to make sure your experience on our site is hassle-free. This includes having to box up a non-fitting cover and return it to us. That is not an experience we want for our customers, and truthfully, it's not much fun for our team either.

Keep in mind we offer a 30-day return policy allowing you to return your cover for any reason.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Of course! But please contact us within 2 hours of placing our order to request a change or cancellation. We begin processing orders soon after they're received so we'll do our best but we cannot guarantee that your order is not already out of our warehouse.

I just received a coupon code, can I apply it to an order already placed?

Sure! Give us a call at (888)517-BEST and we'll be happy to apply the coupon for orders that have not shipped yet.

Unfortunately all sales are final and we are unable to honor this request. Be assured that you are seeing the lowest possible pricing on our site at all times.

How long does my item take to ship?

The overwhelming majority of our orders ship from our warehouse the same day as ordered or the first thing the following day.

Custom orders from Westland® and Covercraft® are made-to-order, and their lead times are indicated on the product page for those specific items.

How much does it cost to ship my item?

Shipping is fast & free for orders over $50. Flat rate shipping for orders under $50 will be indicated on the checkout page, and are dependent on your address & where the item is shipping from.

Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?

We determine our shipping carriers to optimize delivery speed based on your location. Our carriers of choice are UPS, FedEx, and USPS.

Once your item(s) are shipped, we will email you a tracking number to follow your order's progress as it travels to you, or you can sign into your order status page to see the latest updates.

Is a signature required for delivery?

Signatures are not required for delivery, unless requested by the customers.

Do you accept international orders?

We do! If you are unable to checkout in your location via our website's checkout page, please contact our team and we can assist you with your order.

Is it really free shipping, even to Canada?

Yes! All orders over $50 ship free to Canada!

How much are duties and taxes for Canadian orders?

Duties and taxes are determined by the Canadian government and your local government rates. For some locations our system will cacluate these during checkout, but for other locations the carrier will collect duties and taxes upon delivery.

If my cover does not fit can I exchange it?

Yes of course! Please contact our team within 30 days of receiving the product and we'll arrange the product exchange to make your life as simple as possible. We'll ask a few questions to find out where the fit problems are and find you a cover that will fit just right. Specific questions about our exchange policy can be found here.

Can I return my cover for a refund?

Yes of course! Please contact our team within 30 days of receiving the product and we'll arrange the product return to make your life as simple as possible. Once we receive your cover, we'll inspect it to make sure everything was returned and issue your refund within 7-10 business days. What is your return/exchange policy?

Our No-Hassle Return & Exchange Policy lets you purchase a cover without worry. You can find the details on our Return & Exchange Policy page.

How is my refund calculated?

You will receive the amount paid for each returned item, excluding any expedited shipping costs you may have paid. If a prepaid return shipping label is selected, that amount will be deducted from the refund total. The price for the prepaid return label will be provided to you upon request during the return process. The return labels will utilize our shipping discounts to make the process as affordable as possible. Prepaid shipping labels are not available for international orders and return postage must be paid by the customer.

Please Note: Items returned with excessive soiling, customer-caused damage, or in oversized packaging will incur a 20% restocking fee to offset the cost of handling such items. Items returned in original condition will never incur a restocking fee.

How long does it take for me to get a refund?

Once your order has been returned to our warehouse it is inspected to ensure the item is undamaged and that all accessories were returned. Your purchase is refunded in 7 business days or less - typically much sooner!

How do I submit a warranty claim?

What does your warranty cover?

All BestCovers covers are warranted against defects in material and workmanship. Issues that are not covered by the warranty include, but are not limited to, any extraordinary acts of nature such as severe storms, high winds, hail, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, freezing rain, and ice, or damage caused by animals or pets. Damage caused by water pooling on the cover and/or water intrusion is not covered by this warranty.

Does your warranty cover water resistance?

Water intrusion can occur with any breathable cover material, but the breathability of the fabric will allow the moisture to evaporate, eliminating any issues that plastic-style covers can cause. If your cover has reduced water-shedding ability, we recommend re-coating your product with a waterproofing spray, such as Marine 303.
