The Sharkskin™ Plus cover will work with a bimini top. The top will need to be laid flat either toward the rear or the middle of the boat.
Support poles keep water from pooling on your cover, leading to premature failure due to the weight of water. The general rule of thumb we use is that a support pole is needed every 5-6 ft of boat length. For example, a 20' boat would need 4 points of support.
